Sorry I haven't been around... Seph died. I may or not reopen this place... Poe can have it if she wants it. I'm sorry everyone. I'm having a hard time dealing... with stuff...

September 25, 2005 - Unexpected stuff
We have another member! Brehr! ^_^ Sorry it took me so long to put this up... I wanted to make sure everyone saw the previous update. Anyway, I hope everybody gives Brehr a very warm welcome, :) Also, I'm sorry to say this but Poe will be away for the next few days. Her computer died (after giving my computer a virus), and she said she has to take it to get it fixed. Oh, and the new layout is going to take a little longer than I thought. My files were wiped out after Poe's gracious e-mail attachment, so I have to go through and make the entire thing again. >_< Grrr.

September 19, 2005 - Plot update and avatar
Alright, I finally got around to updating the plot. Emphasis on the word: finally. And I've also put Amorak's first avatar character up for adoption! Her place in the plot isn't needed yet, but I thought I'd let whoever becomes her player roleplay a little while and get into the character. We've got big plans for the future of Amorak, and lots of action to be had once the current characters get established and find a territory to join. Also, my progress on the new layout is slow, but it is progress. :D Hopefully I should be done by this Sunday. And... just to let everyone know, since everybody voted blue and gray, it will be those colors. I'll try to keep my experimenting to a minimum, but if you log on and see a little distortion on Amorak, it's just me getting the new layout to work.

September 12, 2005 - Layout poll
Okay, as promised, I set up a poll for anyone interested in the new layout's look. Feel free to cast a vote if you'd like to. XD If not... then you'll have to make due with whatever colors I choose. Haha. J/k ^_^ Anyway, activity is kind of dropping... it's not a big problem right now, but if things get any worse I may get more annoying on the topic. Thank you to everyone who checks back daily! And in some people's cases: twice or even three times a day! Also, I'd like to say that the activity check is over and that Romus and DemonBlink have been deleted. I would be willing to add them back in provided they explain why they were gone... For either who might be reading this... O.o Yeah... that's about it.

September 8, 2005 - Activity check
The activity check is still up and going, for those who haven't posted yet (DemonBlink and Romus). Also, we have a new member!! Yay! Everyone give a warm welcome to Dark (Heath)! And last but not least: still waiting on the layout poll and working a few kinks out of the plot. A new story has come into the mix, so we've got some added action to consider when I finally get around to posting something about it. *Hint* It's going to include Amaari's and Endre's (well.... mostly Amaari's) puppies. There's going to be at least two characters up for grabs in the adoptions forum (if I ever get around to writing their bios -_x ). And... that's about it.

September 4, 2005 - Activity check!
The activity check is up! It's very simple, just log in and reply to the thread with a list of your characters. Their names will be crossed off the list and you're safe until the next check! ^_^ I also would like to give a huge thank you to everyone who is still around. Amorak's a month old! We still have a few plots to get under way that should hopefully make the entire thing a lot more interesting for everybody. And I've also been thinking of changing the layout. After the activity check I'll post a poll and you guys can tell me what colors might look good. :D Thanks again and have a good day!

This is Seph. I wanted to warn everyone that an activty check may be in the very near future. A few members have been noticably absent, and it's making Endre a little peeved. XD Keep a look out, it will be announced here, and everyone should hopefully see it in the conversation forum when it's up. Those who don't reply will be deleted, no excuses. And please, help us advertise. If you haven't noticed, we've got a few more affiliates, but no new members. :( Let's get this place moving, people! :D Thanks!

Name – Brehr (Brayer) or Bear as a nickname

Species – Alaskan Grey Wolf
Appearance – Brehr is a well proportioned wolf, his frame is elegant and more or less built for speed. A long tassel hangs as his backside, always seen down in comfort and calmness. His coat is well kept, furnished with mixtures of grey and white. There are darker shades of fur on the mask of his maw and face. Brehr’s opticals are tainted gold and dark brown, and are normally seen in slits. His eyes are just barely opened most of the time, though he can still see everything.

Personality – Brehr is a simple wolf, he relies on those he cares for and protects them with every ounce of strength, even if it would mean sacrificing his own life. He is kind, and gentle, and will do what is right to the benefit of someone else rather then just himself. His eyes are always kept on females around him, he can’t help it but he lives to serve anyone, even if he doesn’t quite know them. Brehr likes to hide his emotions; he likes to keep a smile on his face to hide any sadness or regret. He despises to think of the past and what it holds for him in the future.

History – Although he hides it well, and doesn’t like to talk about it. He has had quite a ruff past. A bit of ruff play and tumbling down around an old river with your litter mates can lead to much more then just an angry alphess. It was just one of those days where you know something bad was going to happen, and when the time finally came that bad thing did happen. When Brehr was a young pup, he had played frequently with his litter mates, always fighting over the last shred of meat or just battening up his skills. And every day he would fight, once leading to a deep and old river that was forbidden to venture to.
He and his brother (who was known to be the next alpha of the pack) ended up seeking that river and what had made it so dangerous to play around. To make a long story short, the river ran off a very steep cliff, his brother went off of the cliff thanks to Brehr and ended up dieing that day. Ever since, he had been treated roughly with his pack for being the one that killed the future alpha. He didn’t want to deal with all of the regret built up inside of him, so he simply dumped it all away with the river and pack he left. (this was a short version of the real history for this wolf character)

Role-play example - It was true, for the Incognito wolves to not take trespassers lightly. If there were a different alpha then Surano, then maybe the pack would be more lenient. His cheat caved in slowly, he released his breath and relaxed his position. His tail was carried lower, his auds only tilted forward in curiosity. He heaved his small body forward an inch or two closer to the wolf in front of him, getting a better look at the trespasser. After a moment of silence he stepped back from the female. Golden orbs, in silence stared noting her discomfort and lesser stance.

Surano, compared to her, was just a about an inch or two smaller. His legs were slimmer, his cheat deeper, his head held higher only for superior reasons. His grey coat blended in the surrounding shadows, agitated only by a hair. If she did decide to run, finding her own escape route through the decimated buildings, she would surely make it out of here without effort. Surano would not think about chasing her, he was too lazy to waste his time on such novel exercises. His paws tapped the floor below him, waiting for the silence to break.

“Look here, this location is part of my lands and it belongs to no other. There is plenty of room for any wolf to stay, so if you are looking for a home I will kindly offer it to you. No fur attached, but you live under my rules and work under me as part of my pack. And I ain’t the best alpha of all time so don’t be expecting anything grand. If you are willing to take chances, then step right this way.” He paused and motioned with his paw behind him, where he emerged to handle the situation. “But, if you decline now then get out of here and never show your maw again.”

Surano’s expression changed from a kind nice male, to cold dominate brute from time to time. He didn’t like new wolves only because he did not trust them, but if they had shown from the start they were not a threat then they would be given one chance, and only one chance to prove themselves.
